1. Describe
The SN74ABT125D four-way bus buffer gate has an independent three-state output line driver. When the associated output enable (OE) input is high, each output is disabled. These devices are ideal for hot-swap applications that use Ioff and power-up tri-state. The Ioff circuit disables the output to prevent damage to the current backflow through the device when the power is off. The power-on tri-state circuit puts the output in a high-impedance state during power-up and power-down, which can prevent driver conflicts. To ensure that it is in a high-impedance state when power-on or power-down, OE should be connected to the VCC resistor through a pull-up resistor; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current sink capability of the driver.
