The SN74HC595DT devices are 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift registers. They feature a wide operating current of 2 V to 6 V, and the high-current tri-state output can drive up to 15 LSTTL loads. These devices feature a low power consumption of 80µA (max) ICC. Additionally, these devices feature a low 1 μA (max) input current and ±6 mA output drive at 5 V
