1. Describe
74HC245D is a high-speed CMOS octal bus transceiver manufactured with silicon gate C2MOS technology. They achieve high-speed operation similar to equivalent LSTTL while maintaining the low power consumption of CMOS. They are used for two-way asynchronous communication between data buses. The direction of data transmission is determined by the level of the DIR input. The enable input (G) can be used to disable the device to effectively isolate the bus. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits to prevent electrostatic discharge or transient overvoltage.

(2) Low power consumption: when Ta = 25°C, ICC = 4.0µA (maximum)
(3) Balance propagation delay: tPLH ≈ tPHL
(4) Wide operating voltage range: VCC(opr) = 2.0 V to 6.0 V
