6. Application Information

For open-drain and CMOS output types, both detection and release voltages are used as threshold voltages. When the voltage applied to the VDD pin reaches the appropriate threshold voltage, the VOUT terminal voltage switches from "High" to "Low" or from "Low" to "High". For information on hysteresis, see Timing Waveforms and Electrical Characteristics. Since the BD48xxx series is an open-drain output type, a pull-up resistor needs to be connected to VDD or other power supply if required [when the output "high" voltage (VOUT) becomes VDD or other power supply].

7. Timing waveform
