ROHM's BD4839G and BD49xxx series Accurate, low current voltage detector IC series. this Family includes BD48xxx devices with N-channel open Sink outputs and BD49xxx devices with CMOS outputs. These devices are available for specific sense voltages The range is from 2.3V to 6.0V in 0.1V increments.
2. Feature
1. High-precision detection
2. Ultra-low current consumption
3. Two output types (Nch open drain and CMOS output)
4. Wide operating temperature range
5. Very small and low-height packages
6. Package SSOP5 similar to SOT-23-5 (JEDEC)
7. Package SSOP3 similar to SOT-23-3 (JEDEC)
3. Application
circuits using microcontrollers or logic circuits Need to reset.

5. Pin Description

6. Application Information
For open-drain and CMOS output types, both detection and release voltages are used as threshold voltages. When the voltage applied to the VDD pin reaches the appropriate threshold voltage, the VOUT terminal voltage switches from "High" to "Low" or from "Low" to "High". For information on hysteresis, see Timing Waveforms and Electrical Characteristics. Since the BD48xxx series is an open-drain output type, a pull-up resistor needs to be connected to VDD or other power supply if required [when the output "high" voltage (VOUT) becomes VDD or other power supply].
7. Timing waveform
1. When the power is turned on, the output is unstable From over operating limit voltage (VOPL) to tPHL. Therefore, it is possible that the reset signal is not output when The rise time of VDD is faster than tPHL.
2. When VDD is greater than VOPL but less than reset release voltage (VDET + ΔVDET), the output voltage will switch to low level.
3. If VDD exceeds the reset release voltage (VDET + ΔVDET), the VOUT switches from L to H.
4. If VDD is lower than detection voltage (VDET), power supply When the power is off or when there is power fluctuate, VOUT switches to L (delay tPHL).
5. Detect the potential difference between the voltage and The release voltage is called the hysteresis width (ΔVDET).
- This The system is designed so that the output does not follow Power fluctuations within this hysteresis width prevent malfunction caused by noise.
