1. Describe

The KSZ9893RNXI is a highly integrated, IEEE 802.3 compliant network device that includes a Layer 2+ managed Gigabit Ethernet switch, two 10BASE-T/100BASE TX/1000BASE-T physical layer transceivers (PHYs) and The associated MAC unit, and one MAC port has a configurable RGMII/MII/RMII interface for direct connection to a host processor/controller, another Ethernet switch, or an Ethernet PHY transceiver. The host processor has access to all KSZ9893RNXI registers to control all PHY, MAC and switch functions. The full registration can be accessed via the integrated SPI or I2C interface, or managed in-band via either data port. PHY register access is provided by the MIIM interface. Flexible digital I/O voltages allow the MAC port to interface directly with a 1.8/2.5/3.3V host processor/controller/FPGA. Additionally, various robust power management features (EEE) including IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet are used to conserve power over idle links, and Wake-on-LAN (WoL) for low-power standby operation is designed to meet Requirements for energy saving systems. The KSZ9893RNXI is available in commercial (0°C to +70°C) and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges.
