1. Describe

The TPS40210QDGQRQ1 and TPS40211-Q1 devices are Wide input voltage (4.5 V to 52 V) asynchronous boost controller. They are suitable for topologies that satisfy the following conditions A grounded source N-channel FET is required, including Boost, flyback, SEPIC and various LED drivers application. Device features include programmable Soft start, overcurrent protection with auto-retry, and programmable oscillator frequency. Current Mode Control Provides Improved Transient Response and simplified loop compensation.

The TPS40210-Q1 and TPS40211-Q1 devices support a wide range of input voltages from 4.5 V to 52 V in a non-synchronous boost topology. The applications can also be expanded to flyback, SEPIC, and various LED driver applications. The current-mode control provides the advantages of improved transient response and ease of selecting compensation components.
