1. Description
The SARA-G340-01S series module is a multifunctional 2.5G GSM/GPRS cellular module in a micro-LGA (terrestrial grid array). Constitutive factors. SARA-G3 series has low power consumption characteristics, combined with baseband, RF transceiver, power supply SARA-G340 (dual-band) and SARA-G350 (quad-band) are fully functional GSM/GPRS cellular modules with a comprehensive feature set, including an extensive Internet protocol set. These modules also provide complete functionality. Access u-blox GNSS positioning chip and module (AssistNow Online and AssistNow offline) functions through embedded A-GPS integration. Any host processor connected to the cellular module through a single serial port can simultaneously control the cellular module and the positioning chip/module. SARA-G310 (quad-band) and SARA-G300 (dual-band) are cost-sensitive applications for large-capacity GSM/GPRS cellular modules, which provide a reduced set of additional functions for GSM/GPRS functions to reduce and minimize customer’s Total cost of ownership. The compact size and LGA pads of the SARA-G3 series allow fully automated assembly with standard pick and place and reflow soldering equipment, enabling cost-effective mass production.
